Here's an update. We have put up a new anime header for our sports and outdoor activities pages. If it looks familiar to you, it's because we liked the "Kids Having Fun and Staying Fit" banner so much that we had it resized to fit as a header and changed the text to include our website name: Buzzing Kids World. And we reduced the font size of the website name in the footer to allow more room for page titles.

The font style, colors, and background remain the same in order to maintain consistency. We hope you like the new addition as much as we do.

First, I want to thank you for your honest and detailed opinion. I have to admit that I was rather sad to see the Santa hat go as well, but I do plan on making holiday versions of the current headers for my holiday pages as well...I just have to figure out how to incorporate it.
It seems there were quite a few people who were less than fond of the fire-y header on the homepage, though I admit to rather liking it. My main problem with that header was that I couldn't get my logo into it without making the addition look choppy and unnatural. ;.; ...random side note, I don't know that there is an anime frowny face, but ;.; is an anime crying face.
Anyway, I am glad to hear that you like the blog header. It was rather fun to create. I'm still getting used to these headers myself and am thinking the overall effect might be too dark...something which I will toy with over the weekend.

Thanks, Anika, and for identifying the boys in the header. Maybe I should have a contest to see who can be the 1st to ID my images, etc.That could be fun, couldn't it? I'll have to think of a prize or reward.
I may have to set some parameters like "no repeat winners in any given month" or something like that. ^.^
I LOVE the new header. The two boys playing soccer in the header are Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. They are two of the main characters from the ninja anime Naruto...one of my all time favorite anime's (one of many, actually). Sasuke is my favorite character from that show, so I'm glad to see him in your header (he is the black haired boy).
