10) PBS Kids Games

PBS Kids Games is a site for younger kiddies. It has theme-based games based on different PBS kids shows like Calliou, Buster and Teletubbies, music makers and coloring pages.

9) Funbrain

Funbrain is learning game site for K-8. You can play games based on math and reading and even some arcade-style games too. The site also has a section for comics and web diaries!

  8) Yahoo Kids

Yahoo Kids is more than just a gaming site. It has movies, sports, jokes AND it has a great gaming section! There are sports games, movie-based games, racing games – even ninja games!

7) Nick Jr. Arcade

Nick Jr. is for the littler kids with the same ideas as the regular Nick, but focusing on shows like Nihao Kai-lan and Dora. Games are listed under the Arcade section and are super easy to play!

6) Noggin Games

Noggin is another site for chickadee gamers and is based on the network cable channel Noggin. Games are centered on Noggin’s characters such as Lil Bill, Go Diego Go and Pinky Dinky Do.

5) Disney Games

Disney Games rockin’! Sports, puzzles, arcade games, word games, action, character games and video games. Phew. AND there are downloadable games you can install on your PC or Mac or online games you can play on the site.

4) Nickelodeon

Nick.com is an awesome site for kids. It has lots of sections based on all the Nick shows and has lots of games under the Games section. There’s Spongebob and Dora, plus lots of other games too. You can pick your fave character and it will show you all the games available for it or you can just choose a game from the menu. Easy peasy to navigate, especially for wee ones!

3) Games.com

Games.com is a spin-off of AOL and has every type of game you can think of! From easy puzzle and arcade games to role playing games there is something for kids of all ages. There is even a blog on the site that talks about games! If you have an AOL account you can log in and play games that win you money, but like always, talk to your parents before setting up an account.

2) MSN Gaming Zone

Another of our favorites, MSN Gaming Zone has a ton of cool games to play. There are over 100 free games, games you can download for a trial period and buy later, and games you can play against other people. Most of the games don’t require an account to log in, but if you want to play with others just sign up for an account, or log in with your MSN Live account (you know the rules…) Just try not to get addicted to Bejeweled!

1) Pogo Games

Our favorite site, Pogo, has over 100 free games to play in all kinds of categories: Puzzle games, word games, card games, board games, casino games, arcade and sports games, downloadable games... There are games you can play by yourself or with other people. You need a free login to the site and will have to login to play (so ask your mom for help!), BUT the site is completely free and tons of fun!
