Naruto Characters

Here is the beginning of an expanded list of Naruto characters to help you get acquainted and keep up with the plot. Whether Anime or Manga, Naruto has a very large cast of recurring characters and even more that only make an appearance or two.

If you are like us, sometimes you get lost in the storyline and lose track of who's who and how they fit into the story. While this is not an exhaustive list, hopefully it will help you keep most of the characters straight. This character page provides you with a little more detail of the main characters.

Naruto Uzumake – A head strong ninja who leaps before he looks, Naruto sees Sasuke as his ultimate rival. Because he’s at the bottom of his class and very much a prankster, many of his classmates overlook him and his skill potential. In true anime style, he enjoys shocking the adults with his sexy jutsu. His ultimate goal is to be the best ninja ever and become Hokage.

Sakura Haruno – Naruto's squadmate, Naruto has a huge crush on her, but she likes Sasuke and finds Naruto completely obnoxious. Inner Sakura is feisty, but it takes Sakura awhile for her to truly be confident in herself because although she's very book smart, she often feels like she is the weak link on her team instead of Naruto.

Sasuke Uchiha – Naruto's squadmate, the sole survivor of the massacre of his clan, his sole desire is to avenge his familys' death. Sasuke is a loner who because of his skills and past believes his classmates are beneath him and doesn't like having to rely on others. He works hard to master the Sharingan, a skill that is exclusive to his clan.
