- Even on the plane instead of watching the in-flight movie
- In the car
If a digital reader isn't in your budget, take your kids to the library and sign them up for a library card. Make treks to the library a weekly event, on the same day each week, and encourage them to try different styles of books, different authors and different genres. Talk with your librarian about the newest books being released and get suggestions on what the kids are reading. The more fun the outing, the more inclined they are to read.
